This is great for necros and SKs but for those of us who use the Regent Symbol of Innoruuk we are shit out of luck. On Live clinging darkness stopped mobs in their tracks. But as for SK solo spots, Fear kiting is pretty much the MO after 22 (Engulfing Darkness - Clinging darkness sucks, but it works i guess). SK's get spook the dead, which is faster-casting and much more efficient than fear, so anywhere you can fear kite undead outdoors is a huge +.
WebOct 6, 2014 · Only recently started on P1999 but on live for the relevant time frame I used Disease Cloud for agro, when that was changed Clinging Darkness. Clinging Darkness spam was good for passing agro to warriors for raid pulls or Slowing on the pull. Invisability during a pull used to work good as you could pull raid targets through the zone.

WebI looked at all the necromancer spells level 85 and below, then tried to sort them into the various spell lines.IE: Leech is a direct upgrade/replacement for Dark Pact, Engulfing Darkness is the upgrade to Clinging Darkness, etc. This gets tricky at the high end, since spells suddenly do all sorts of crazy stuff.
