WebbI had a glitched hired muscle quest too, where I had to trespass on a ship to do it. Lost damn near all my progress. I was on PC and fixed it myself but I play on PS4 now. From that point onwards I always leave the conversation when Farkas offers me work. Webb26 maj 2012 · The Companion's quest "Hired Muscle" (one of the early quests in the Companion's quest line) had me going to Belethor's general store in Whiterun to rough him up (not to kill, otherwise you fail the quest). So I selected the dialogue option to rough him up (brawl) and the fight began. WebbNeski spawns only during the 'Power' branch of the Bittercup questline. (You can only choose one of the branches per playthrough) If you're on PC and run into this issue, I'd recommend using console commands (setstage CR04 20) to finish Hired Muscle, if you don't want to go through the Power branch.
